Catnapping
An embroidered update for anyone wanting to know what Florence actually did do next… the answer is sunbaking. Throughout the summer you will find her basking in the sunshine on the warm patio, her favoured spot amongst the herbs.
The perfect stitching project for any cat-lovers out there.

What's included?
Comprehensive stitching guide with a step by step instructions, lots of photos for reference and an annotated plan for the project. Because this project includes a type of informal silk shading, a collage of photos throughout the stitching process has been included, demonstrating how the colours are layered up to achieve the ‘tabby’ effect.
Antique French linen with the embroidery design already hand printed ready for you to start stitching
Card with all of the threads you will need to complete this project
Open access to contact me with questions about your stitching while you are working on the project - I am always very happy to help or provide a bit of guidance (or just to update you on what Florence has been up to)
Can I stitch this?
There are a number of different embroidery stitches and techniques used in this kit that a more competent stitcher would be more comfortable with, but I have included a stitching step by step guide in the hope that even confident beginners can achieve her beautiful fur. YouTube is also a great resource for demonstrations if you are unsure how to complete a certain stitch.
Is this sized to fit the heirloom bunting?
Absolutely! This has been sized to fit a bunting flag (and looks gorgeous strung as part of my Summer Party strand), but the design comes on a good sized piece of antique linen so, if bunting isn't your thing, it would look equally lovely made up as a bowl filler, as a patch on a bag or mounted in a little frame.
The instructions for making your own strand of heirloom bunting can be found here.
