Summer Hedgehog
This little hedgehog wandered into a flowerbed and came out with a floral headdress caught on her spines - but doesn’t she look pretty and garden-party ready.
Stitch a hedgehog to join your mini (embroidered) menagerie, but be quick - she’ll scurry right off your linen if you’re not careful, back in to the hedgerow and far away.

What's included?
Comprehensive stitching guide with a step by step instructions, lots of photos for reference and an annotated plan for the project
Antique French linen with the embroidery design already hand printed ready for you to start stitching
Card with all of the threads you will need to complete this project
Open access to contact me with questions about your stitching while you are working on the project - I am always very happy to help or provide a bit of guidance (or just to update you on what Florence has been up to)
Can I stitch this?
Whilst not particularly difficult, there are a number of different embroidery stitches used in this kit. YouTube is always a great resource for demonstrations if you are unsure how to complete a certain stitch.
Is this sized to fit the heirloom bunting?
Absolutely! This has been sized to fit a bunting flag (and looks gorgeous strung as part of my Summer Party strand), but the design comes on a good sized piece of antique linen so, if bunting isn't your thing, it would look equally lovely made up as a bowl filler, as a patch on a bag or mounted in a little frame.
The instructions for making your own strand of heirloom bunting can be found here.
